A few days ago, at CON-TUBO we participated in a technical training session led by Alleima Mexico, focused on presenting their product portfolio, manufacturing capabilities, and presence in the country. These types of sessions not only strengthen relationships with international manufacturers, but also provide direct insight into the solutions available for the national industry.
This engagement was particularly valuable as it allowed us to better understand Alleima’s local operations in Mexico, as well as their strategy to serve industrial customers more closely. For the Mexican market, this represents an important evolution in material availability, delivery times, and support.

Alleima: Advanced Metallurgical Technology
Alleima is a global manufacturer specializing in advanced stainless steels and high-performance alloys. Its value proposition is based on full control of the production process, from melting to finished product, ensuring consistency and traceability in every batch.
At the metallurgical level, stainless steels can contain a high percentage of recycled material, typically exceeding 85% depending on the grade, incorporating elements such as chromium, nickel, and molybdenum, which are essential for corrosion resistance and performance in demanding environments.
Product Portfolio for Critical Applications
During the training, Alleima’s main product lines were reviewed, highlighting their specialization in seamless stainless steel tubes, particularly in 304L and 316L grades, widely used in the Mexican industry.
Hydraulic and Instrumentation Tubing
Instrumentation
tubing is a key component in systems where precision and reliability are
critical. These products are manufactured under standards such as ASTM A269 and
ASTM A213, typically in sizes ranging from ¼” to 1”.
In practice, these tubes are used in control systems, hydraulic lines, and measurement equipment, where a leak or failure can halt operations. Alleima works with tighter tolerances than ASTM minimum requirements, improving connection integrity and reducing operational risks. These standards mainly apply to austenitic stainless steels, while ASTM A789 corresponds to duplex materials and ASTM B668 to special nickel alloys.
Advanced Alloys and Special Solutions
Beyond traditional austenitic grades, Alleima offers a broad portfolio including duplex, super duplex, and nickel-based alloys. These materials are designed for highly corrosive environments and extreme operating conditions.
Alloys such as Sanicro 28 are used in sulfuric and phosphoric acid production, while Sanicro 25 is ideal for high-temperature applications such as boilers. Sanicro 625 is widely used in hydraulic systems and high-pressure applications.
CON-TUBO as Alleima Distributor
At CON-TUBO, we participate in the distribution of Alleima products in Mexico, strengthening our offering of stainless steel solutions for industrial applications.
Through this commercial relationship, we support our customers with the supply of ASTM A312 pipe, as well as tubing under ASTM A269 and ASTM A213 standards for instrumentation, thermal processes, and fluid handling. We also have the capability to supply duplex, super duplex, and special alloys under standards such as ASTM A789 and ASTM B668, designed for highly corrosive environments and critical operating conditions.
Our collaboration with Alleima allows us to integrate high-performance materials aligned with the technical requirements of the Mexican industry.
